Forever Young creates a learning environment that is non-violent and non-sexist.
It respects a diversity of ethnic and cultural viewpoints.
Our staff emphasizes activities that foster the physical, social, and emotional, cognitive, and creative development of the child in the inside and outside play areas. children then have the opportunity to choose the activities that interest them.
Forever Young’s policy is to allow children to work out conflicts or frustrations with their peers without immediate adult intervention.
Staff will intervene by suggesting words that can be used to convey the message the child is trying to communicate.
Extremely aggressive or hostile behavior, or repeated problems, may result in redirecting the child or removing the child from the other children for a short period of time. These methods are used to help children resolve conflicts because when given the opportunity to be responsible, children learn to accept the natural consequences of their behavior.
